Professor of Natural Sciences

Deep Springs College seeks a professor of the natural sciences at the junior or senior level for the Herbert Reich Chair of Natural Sciences, a two year position with a 2/2 teaching load, renewable up to six years. The chair may design courses to focus on labs, fieldwork, or seminar discussions. To support research, the college makes available professional development funds, is prepared to support modest research, and provides four months a year without academic commitments. The appointment is full-time with benefits and open to candidates in fields including but not limited to environmental science, biology, chemistry, geology, physics.
