Job Details

The Role:

Moderna is seeking an exceptional person to join the animal facility husbandry team. The successful candidate will have proficiency in all aspects of laboratory rodent care and animal facility maintenance, a strong work ethic, and be a collaborative team member.

Here's What You'll Do:
  • Provides daily husbandry care to research animals per Moderna's standard operating procedures, and all applicable guidelines.
  • Monitors daily animal health and well-being.
  • Monitors and records all environmental parameters of assigned holding rooms for temperature and humidity.
  • Houses newly arriving animal deliveries and ensures that orders match the posted incoming animal log and assigned cage cards.
  • Completes all required reporting documents and cage notification cards.
  • Operates bio-safety cabinets, animal transfer stations, cage washer and autoclave.
  • Cleans and sanitizes all horizontal surfaces, floors and walls of animal facility.


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 1-5 years of experience in rodent technical procedures.
