Assistant or Associate Professor

The Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Texas at Austin seeks to fill a faculty position in the area of evolutionary genomics, at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. We are a vibrant and inclusive community, and we seek candidates who are interested in contributing to diversity and equal opportunity within higher education.

Candidates' research accomplishments and aims should show evidence of originality and should address significant questions in comparative, functional, and/or ecological genomics. Study systems can include any group of organisms, including animals, plants, and microbes, and we are particularly interested in candidates working on systems involving interactions among organisms or with the environment. Approaches can include population, functional, quantitative, or comparative biology and can employ computational, experimental, and/or field-based methods.
