The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) has embarked on a focused cluster hiring plan to recruit top-tier researchers as a part of a Strategic Faculty Hiring Initiative for 2020. UTSA is seeking faculty members to foster collaborative research, education and outreach and to create transdisciplinary areas of knowledge that will advance their respective fields. We invite applications for the following five research clusters.

Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality (AR/VR) | 3 positions

• Open Rank Position (Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science) in Immersive Technology Applications
• Open Rank Position (Open Department: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, and/or Information Systems and Cyber Security) in XR Human Factors / Human Computer Interaction in psychology, computer science, engineering or information systems and cybersecurity
• Open Rank Position (Department of Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching) in Computing Education
