The Department of Chemistry at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. The primary focus will be Inorganic and Materials/Biomaterials Chemistry. The successful candidate should be an expert in the use of cutting-edge characterization techniques, such as electron microscopy, magnetic measurements, solid-state NMR, ESR, or Mossbauer spectroscopies, etc. It is expected that the new hire will enhance existing strengths in the research portfolio of the Chemistry Department (https://www.albany.edu/chemistry/), and provide exceptional opportunities for collaborations in Chemistry, the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at UAlbany.
