Candidates should hold a PhD in the life sciences. Prior experience in grant-writing and editing is not required, however candidates must have outstanding written and oral communications skills, be exceptionally organized with the demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, multi-task, and meet deadlines, and should have a strong understanding of the basic principles of genetics in biomedical sciences. Prior editorial experience in the scientific publishing industry will be considered favorably.

To apply, please submit a cover letter describing your motivation for the position and relevant experience, your CV, a one page scientific essay on any topic of choice, and three confidential letters of recommendation, to http://apply.interfolio.com/66318 to the attention of Caroline Hendry, Scientific Director and Advisor to the Chair.
