The University of Maryland School of Medicine Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) is recruiting an outstanding Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. tumor immunologist (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) who has an active federally-funded research program. Competitive start-up and salary packages are available. The successful candidates are expected to maintain a productive and funded research program focused on tumor immunology, mentor students, post-doctoral associates and/or physician scientists, present their work at national meetings, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in collaborative research efforts. The appointees will have opportunities to develop and sustain collaborative relationships with basic and clinical researchers, and clinicians within the UMGCCC and School of Medicine. This Laboratory also provides the infrastructure for translational vaccine/cellular immunotherapy studies and our established CAR-T, transplant, and cellular therapy clinical and research programs. For senior professor candidates, substantial opportunities for leadership and program building are available.
