A postdoctoral position in MR engineering with a focus on MRI coil development for brain imaging is available in the Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute at the Columbia University, New York, NY, USA.
Candidates should have an advanced degree (Ph.D. or Sc.D.) in engineering (e.g., biomedical or electrical) or physical science plus a strong record in human MRI. Specific experience with MRI hardware and software are highly desirable.
The position is funded by grants from the National Science Foundation. The Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute at Columbia University has two state-of-the-art Siemens Prisma 3T MRI scanners, as well as an advanced RF coil lab, which are dedicated to human brain researches. For clinical studies, Columbia University Medical Center also have seven 3T and one 1.5T MRI scanners. These resources will facilitate the cutting-edge human brain cognitive and clinical researches.
