Postdoc Position in RNA Biology and Molecular Genetics

NIH funded postdoc position available in the laboratory of Dr. Chen Chen at Michigan State University. The Chen lab studies the biology of small noncoding RNAs in germline regulation using molecular, biochemical, genomics and proteomics approaches as well as CRISPR/Cas9 knockout mouse models. Current projects focus on the piRNA pathway in germline genome regulation and spermatogenesis. Recent publications: Ding D et al. Nature Communications 2017; Ding D et al. Nature Communications 2018; Ding D et al. Nucleic Acids Research 2018).

The successful candidate should hold a recent Ph.D. in biological sciences with a research background in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, developmental biology, reproductive biology, or mouse genetics. Preference will be given to applicants with strong research experience in one or more areas in biochemistry and molecular biology, RNA biology, piRNAs and miRNAs.
