Associate to Full Professor in Cancer Biology / Immunology

The Department of Biology in the College of Arts & Sciences (www.baylor.edu/artsandsciences/) invites applications for an Associate to Full Professor faculty position in Cancer Biology or Immunology. Successful candidates will have established an internationally-recognized research program. Applicants must provide evidence of significant research productivity sustained through external funding and demonstrated by an excellent publication record. The Department of Biology keenly values diversity amongst its faculty and students and believes it is essential to achieving excellence.

Faculty are expected to participate in Baylor University’s mission and to demonstrate commitment to service in the larger community. The successful candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized research program, sustain external funding, publish in major journals, and excel in teaching and mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to faculty labs, the University houses state-of-the-art instrumentation, including centers for microscopy and imaging, mass spectrometry, and molecular biosciences. Additional University resources include the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC), a high-capacity research computing core, as well as the Synthesis and Drug-Lead Discovery Laboratory.
