Tenure-track Assistant Professor Faculty Position: Neuroscience

The Department of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences (DDBS), University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy ( http://www.sc.edu/pharmacy ) in Columbia, SC invites applications from outstanding junior scientists for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position, with primary expertise in the field of neuroscience.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, post-doctoral training and a significant track record of research accomplishments. The candidate will be expected to develop a strong, extramurally funded and nationally/ internationally recognized research program. Successful candidates with research interests that complement departmental research programs that focus on drug discovery or mechanisms of drug action in the CNS will be given priority. The candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and be expected to participate in graduate and professional education, with an emphasis on neuropharmacological topics. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
