Post Doctoral Researcher to pursue specialized research training by conducting independent research under the guidance of Dr. Matthew Ringel to characterize the functional and molecular changes with thyroid cancer development and progression with a focus on mouse and ex vivo models of metastatic progression and analysis of large genomic data sets. Work will include mouse modeling and imaging, tissue analysis and histology, analysis of changes in gene mutations, copy number, and mRNA/ protein expression, functional analysis of pathways; and studies of tumor/microenvironment interactions with specific interest in the tumor: immune interface in metastatic progression.
A Doctoral degree in an appropriate discipline is required. Experience with analysis of large data sets preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Salary Range $ 48,000.00 - $ 55,000.00
