The Department of Pathology at the NYU School of Medicine (NYU Langone Health) invites applications for a position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the research field of Immunology and Ion channels. We seek candidates with a research background in various aspects of ion channel function and innate or adaptive immunology. The successful candidate will join the new Ion Channels & Immunity program and is expected to participate in program activities. Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and an exceptional record of achievements, and propose important and creative research.


New faculty members will be part of the large and vibrant immunology community at NYU School of Medicine. They will be supported with a generous start-up package, excellent laboratory space, access to laboratory animal facilities, and a wide range of state-of-the-art core facilities providing services in ion channel physiology, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, high throughput biology, bioinformatics, cell imaging, flow cytometry, and pathology. Successful candidates are expected to initiate and maintain a vigorous, independent, extramurally funded research program, participate in the NYU School of Medicine graduate programs within the Sackler Institute and contribute to the academic mission of the Ion Channels & Immunity program and the Department of Pathology.
