ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION IN ANALYTICAL OR EXPERIMENTAL PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry at ISU seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in (a) analytical and/or (b) experimental physical chemistry, both broadly defined.  Candidates should have a demonstrated potential for transformative research and excellent classroom teaching. The successful candidate will have a strong potential for independent and collaborative research in a field that strengthens the department’s portfolio, either through complementarity or building on existing strengths. Qualified applicants must have a PhD in chemistry or a closely related discipline, a strong research record, and enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate and graduate chemistry courses.
