This full time post is available from 1 October 2019 on a fixed term basis until 30 September 2020

Summary of the role
The College wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to support the work of Dr. Benjamin Housden. This post is available from 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020. You will contribute to the development of a novel drug-target screening platform currently being developed by Dr. Housden’s research team.

The post will include:

- Planning and performing experiments within the project framework
- Analysing results and interpreting them to guide further experiments

- Reporting results and conclusions

About you
You will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.

Applicants will possess a relevant PhD or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. Applicants will be able to demonstrate a strong background in molecular biology and have the potential to successfully perform advanced techniques with appropriate training.
