TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-COMPUTATIONAL CHEMICAL BIOLOGY

Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in computational chemical biology at the Assistant Professor rank. The selected candidate will join the Departments of Chemistry and Biological Sciences and will be a core member of Vanderbilt's recently established Data Science Institute, the Center for Structural Biology, and the Institute of Chemical Biology.

The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous externally funded research program using computational approaches complementing existing departmental and institutional strengths such as chemical biology, drug design & discovery, structural biology, personalized medicine, molecular biophysics, and imaging sciences. This position is part of a broader multi-year faculty hiring initiative in the data sciences, and candidates will be expected to contribute to the research and teaching mission of the Institute, and ideally to foster research collaborations with existing faculty across academic departments working on data science related topics.
The appointment will begin Fall 2020.
