Postdoctoral Researcher
The Krauss lab is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with experience in nucleic acids, ideally RNA and in vitro selection and mRNA display. The position is open immediately, but other start dates through 2019 will be considered. The Krauss lab does research in chemically modified libraries for in vitro selection. This researcher will take part in projects involving in mRNA display selections of peptides that are post-translationally modified with carbohydrates, to develop selective glycopeptide binders of lectins, mimics of glycosaminoglycans, and HIV, Zika, or Dengue vaccine candidates (see http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/ja411212q and http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/ja500678v, for lead references).
