Shanghai Biomed-Union (www.biomed-union.com) is a pre-IPO clinical stage biotechnology company located in Shanghai International Medical Zone. One of our missions is to serve cancer patients. We develop immunotherapies for the treatment of various types of cancers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to lead the discovery-driven antibody engineering team. The director will be expected to act as a champion in multiple projects at any given time.

Qualification:

• PhD with 2-5 years post-doctoral training 
• Hands-on experience in antibody development 
• Background in protein biochemistry 
• Experience to design, construct, express and characterize therapeutic antibodies
• Expertise in antibody engineering to tweak affinity, specificity, and humanization
• Ability to lead, communicate, and present complex findings to audiences from diverse backgrounds 

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting salary of US$120,000/year to US$150,000/year. Generous benefit package provided.
