Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:




We seek a bright, independent, organized, motivated individual to work on exciting translational projects based on therapeutic genome editing and gene transfer. A strong background in cell and molecular biology is necessary. Experience with Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV), genomics and virology is desirable. Projects involve PCR, ddPCR, protein analysis, tissue culture, gene transfer, flow cytometry, sequencing and bioinformatics. Experience with tissue sectioning and staining is helpful. The candidate will be expected to work independently but coordinately with other laboratory members. Efficient trouble shooting, time management and multi-tasking skills are important. The ideal candidate will be bright, a quick learner, highly motivated, organized, with great work ethic and must get along well with others.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
