Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology (Molecular Geneticist)

The Biology Department at Hamilton College invites applications for an eighteen-month position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning January 1, 2020.  Candidates with a completed Ph.D. and teaching experience preferred.  The teaching load for this position is the equivalent of three courses during the first semester and five courses thereafter.  The successful applicant will teach a lecture/lab course on Genetics (two course credits), an introductory biology course, and two additional course credits as complements to the department's offerings. These may include: a lecture/lab course, a non-majors lecture course, an upper-level seminar, or supervision of senior thesis research.  Support is available for research and conference travel.  Candidates should submit a current curriculum vitae, statements about teaching and research with undergraduate students, and the contact information for three references to Interfolio at https://apply.interfolio.com/67523.
