NIDDK/NIH Post-Doctoral Fellowship position
Neural Mechanisms underlying Diabetes and Obesity
Post-doctoral fellowships are available starting immediately in the Diabetes, Endocrinology and Obesity Branch of the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Research will focus on elucidating neural mechanisms underlying glucose metabolism and their role in obesity and diabetes pathogenesis. Projects will use mouse models in combination with chemogenetics, optogenetics, and electrophysiology. Candidates need to demonstrate experience in neurobiology research using mouse models. Familiarity with diabetes/obesity research is helpful. Applicants should have received their Ph.D. within the past three years. A current C.V. and three letters of reference should be sent to:
