Post-Doctoral Fellow

A Post-Doctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Ronald Gartenhaus is available this Fall/Winter. Our laboratory studies the abnormal post-transcriptional/translational gene regulation, perturbed metabolism as well as oncogenic signaling cascades associated with lymphoma (Kapadia, Nature Communications 2018; Bhalla, Scientific Reports 2018; Dai, Oncogene 2016) and how they can be exploited for targeted therapy. Interested candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics or cell biology. Interest/experience in Bioinformatics would be useful.

The laboratory is located in the VCU Sanger Research Building with state-of-the-art facilities and access to core facilities including; confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, transgenic mice, etc. The Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Center is an NCI-Designated Cancer Center.
