Description
The Department of Cell Biology at the Blavatnik Institute at Harvard Medical School (https://cellbio.med.harvard.edu/) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence. Applicants in all areas of cell biology, ranging from mechanistic analysis of cellular processes to development, function, and dynamics of complex biological systems, are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will direct independent research and participate in graduate and medical school teaching. We welcome candidates with a PhD or MD/PhD and a record of outstanding research productivity.
Our department offers a vibrant research community, with many opportunities for interactions within the broader Harvard and Longwood Medical Area community. This appointment provides a highly competitive start-up package and access to cutting-edge facilities, including advanced light and electron microscopy, computational image analysis, mass spectrometry, and high-throughput small molecule and genetic screening.
