FACULTY POSITION

Department of Pharmacology

Upstate Medical University,

Syracuse, New York

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a well-funded research program that complements existing strengths in the Department and University, including molecular pharmacology, drug discovery and development, nanomedicine, cancer biology and therapeutics, cardiovascular science, neurodegeneration and cell signaling. The applicant will also be expected to contribute to graduate and medical teaching. The position is state-supported with a guaranteed base salary, excellent fringe benefits, and competitive start-up funds.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent, outstanding postdoctoral experience, a strong publication record, and grant funding accomplishments.
