The Center for Integrative Brain Research, in the Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington is recruiting a full time Associate Professor without tenure or Professor without tenure (commensurate with experience and qualifications), 12-month service period position, on the Physician-Educator track. Responsibilities include establishing an independent and extramurally-funded research program and being an active participant in teaching and mentoring graduate and postdoctoral students as well as junior faculty investigators. There will be opportunities to work in areas of interest including human genetics, model organism genetics, neuro-development in congenital heart disease, systems, molecular and developmental neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, addiction and psychiatric neuroscience, ischemia-reperfusion injury and systems level analyses of pathways involved in disease. This is a great opportunity to work at the state-of-the-art facilities at The Center for Integrative Brain Research in the Seattle Children's Research Institute and to be a part of a growing center with an integrative approach to neuroscience. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Anticipated start date is Fall 2019.
