Postdoctoral researcher: neurovascular signaling

The Junge lab in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences at UMN seeks to appoint a full-time Post-Doctoral Researcher beginning Fall 2019. The Junge lab integrates mouse genetics, molecular and protein-biochemical methods, cell biology, and various -omics, to understand the signaling pathways that mediate neurovascular interactions. These efforts help us to understand how normal biology is altered in disease, in particular retinal vascular diseases. The Junge lab is NIH-funded for the next 5 years. Current projects focus on blood-retina barrier function, norrin and wnt signaling, the classical complement system, and stress sensors in the CNS vasculature. For formal applications submit an application online via the UMN career page (google “UMN find a job”), job ID 332338.
