Assistant Professor - Human Cognition - Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley seeks to fill a tenure-track, assistant professor position in the area of human cognitive science, with an expected start date of July 1, 2020. Research interests may include but are not limited to memory, learning, reasoning, problem solving, social cognition, decision-making, and individual differences in cognition, including dysfunction. We are especially interested in applicants using quantitative approaches, including computational modeling of behavior and/or statistical analyses of large or complex data sets. The department is particularly interested in research programs that make bridges to other areas within the Psychology Department as well as to other disciplines within cognitive science.

Basic Qualifications: PhD or equivalent international degree, or enrolled in PhD or equivalent international degree-granting program at the time of application.
