Postdoctoral Fellow
The Brady laboratory is seeking to fill one postdoctoral position that involves studying: (i) roles and regulation of nuclear envelope proteins in liver disease and (ii) novel animal models of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Requirements include experience in biochemical, molecular and cell biological techniques; mouse or zebrafish disease models; and a record of publications commensurate with level of training. Possession of US citizenship or permanent residency is preferred since it allows the trainee to apply for supplemental funding, and strong preference is given to trainees with no previous postdoctoral training. Career development of the postdoctoral fellow will be a priority for the PI, and the research environment at the University of Michigan Medical School is world-class.
