We are seeking a Post-doctoral fellow with at least 2 years experience who is proficient in nanomaterials research and has specific expertise in the functionalization and characterization of silica-based nanoparticle probes. The candidate should have experience with conjugation strategies needed to attach a variety of targeting ligands to nanoparticle surfaces, including antibody fragments, as well as radionuclides, for PET imaging.  Experience with characterization procedures, including radioTLC, HPLC, chromatography, and gamma counting is required. The individual will be expected to have a working knowledge of molecular imaging methods (PET, optical) for performing in vivo imaging studies. Familiarity with development programs for clinical translation, including GMP manufacturing and IND application procedures is desirable. The prospective candidate will gain valuable experience across a wide variety of subject matters by working closely with a collegial, highly motivated, multidisciplinary team.
