A postdoctoral position in developmental neurobiology is available immediately to study the molecular and genetic mechanisms of retinal development using the mouse and Drosophila as model systems at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Baylor has a large number of highly productive labs studying retinal development and function and provides an outstanding environment for cutting-edge research. Projects focus on molecular mechanisms of retinal disease gene function and include a rich and extensive set of single-cell RNA sequencing data from throughout Drosophila eye development and adults as well as mouse models of human retinal disease.

Researchers with strong interest in retinal development, genomics, and gene function are welcome to apply.
