The Cardiovascular Research Center (CVRC) at the Massachusetts General Hospital invites nominations for outstanding physician-scientists or PhD scientists at the associate professor or professor level for the Charles Addison Sanders and Elizabeth Ann Sanders Professorship of Medicine. Appointment as a Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and scientific achievements.

Primary responsibilities will include independent and collaborative research in cardiovascular disease and related fields, the creation of new collaborations with other investigators in the CVRC and the MGH Department of Medicine, and mentor and supervise trainees and oversee their academic activities. We seek candidates who have developed highly successful fundamental or translational research programs relevant to cardiovascular biology and/or disease. This position comes with dedicated resources, including endowed funds, ample laboratory space and start-up funding. The research portfolio at the CVRC is supported by NIH grants, foundation awards, and philanthropic gifts.
