Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Physiology

The Department of Biological Sciences at Oakland University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Physiology. Competitive applicants will have a PhD and at least three years of postdoctoral experience in a relevant field with a strong record of success exemplified by high quality research publications. The successful candidate is expected to establish a research program addressing questions about fundamental physiological processes in humans or animals. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to physiology.

Accordingly, vigorous extramural funding as well as undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) student mentoring are expected. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate and graduate courses consistent with their position. Candidates must demonstrate experience with, or a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Laboratory space and competitive start-up funds will be provided.
