The Department of Chemistry at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology invites applications for faculty position across all areas of chemistry (at Assistant/Associate Professor level) with one appointment in the area of Inorganic Chemistry.

Appointees are expected to teach chemistry courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to develop a vigorous research program in their areas of interest.  Applicants should have a PhD degree in chemistry and ideally with a minimum of two years’ post-doctoral research experience.

Starting salaries will be highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including medical/dental package and annual leave will be provided.  Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable, based on university policies.  Initial appointment will normally be on a 3-year contract basis.  A gratuity will be paid upon successful completion of the contract.
