Postdoctoral position available for development of anti-ceramide antibodies for use in immune disorders (Graft vs. Host Disease, Checkpoint Immunity ect.) and for treatment of a radiation public health emergency resulting from a Chernobyl-like accident or an incident involving a nuclear attack. Emphasis will be placed on the role of signal transduction via the second messenger ceramide in these disorders. Our anti-ceramide antibodies are currently in non-human primate trials, and clinical trial design is ongoing at MSK and with the assistance of the Radiation Countermeasures program at NIAID.
