UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN MEDICAL SCHOOL

The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School solicits applications from outstanding scholars for tenure-track (Assistant Professor) or tenured (Associate or Full Professor) faculty positions in a field directly relevant to developmental biology, including (but not limited to): early embryogenesis, organ formation and function, tissue repair, renewal, and regeneration, stem cell biology, organ engineering (including organoids), single cell biology of complex organs, and cellular reprogramming. Applicants should hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree, and are expected to develop and maintain a cutting-edge and innovative research program. Candidates applying for Associate/Full Professor are expected to show evidence of an exceptional record of external funding and mentorship. Successful candidates will join a collegial, interdisciplinary group of faculty, students and fellows, and have access to state-of-the art facilities (see https://medicine.umich.edu/dept/cell-developmental-biology).
