We recently launched the Novel Target Hub (NTH) in the Lilly Innovation Center in Cambridge, MA. The purpose of the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) is to capitalize on the unique innovation climate in order to accelerate innovation of medicines and associated product systems. The NTH will expand CIC capabilities to include the identification and validation of the next wave of therapeutic targets to help people live longer, healthier, more active lives. The NTH will provide nimble experimental and analytical capabilities that achieve scalable target discovery and validation across internal efforts and external academic and industry partnerships in a therapeutic area-agnostic fashion.
We have an exciting chance to help establish an industry-leading discovery group. We are looking for a passionate scientist to establish and lead the hub's Oncology-oriented target discovery and validation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working across scientific disciplines to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets. Have you led multidisciplinary teams of bench and data scientists? Have you generated and leveraged large ‘omic data sets to formulate novel target hypotheses? - Establish and lead a multidisciplinary research group focused on identifying and validating novel cancer therapeutic targets.
- Collaborate with Oncology Research, serving as an extended member of the Oncology R&D Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and prioritize target discovery and validation opportunities.
- Engage with Cambridge Innovation Center colleagues, sharing innovative insights and demonstrating team spirit.

Basic Qualifications
- PhD degree in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or related discipline.
- 7 or more years of relevant academic or industry experience in Oncology target discovery and validation research
