Faculty Position – Basic and Translational Cardiovascular Sciences

The Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology at NYU Langone Health is expanding its cardiovascular research program and invites applications for tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor levels.  We seek physician-scientists and basic scientists with exceptional records of achievement who are tackling fundamental and translational questions relevant to human cardiovascular disease.  Areas of particular interest include immunometabolism, vascular biology, stem cell biology, electrophysiology, cardiac hypertrophy and failure, and genomics and proteomics; however applicants pursuing transformative research in any area relevant to human cardiovascular disease will be considered.

NYU Langone Health will support new faculty with generous start-up packages, research space in the state-of-the-art New Research Building, and access to outstanding institutional core facilities.  The New Research Building is designed to foster highly collaborative and innovative research and leverage our many centers and institutes of excellence, including the Colton Center for Immunity & Autoimmunity; the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine, Kimmel Center for Stem Cell Biology, Druckenmiller Neuroscience Institute, the Institute for Systems Genetics, NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the new Center for Human Genetics and Genomics.
