The Role:

Moderna Therapeutics is seeking an exceptional person to join our In Vivo Pharmacology team. In this position, at the Senior or Principal Research Associate level depending on qualifications, The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager, In Vivo Pharmacology, will conduct rodent in vivo studies utilizing a wide range of technical procedures. Experience performing both mouse and rat studies, a strong work ethic, and the ability to be a collaborative team member are essential.

Here's What You'll Do:
  • Focus primarily on conducting in vivo studies involving rats and mice, independently and on teams.
  • Execute and troubleshoot standard protocols and adapt new protocols into practice
  • Faithfully document scientific work; contribute to reports and presentations
  • Collect, analyze and present data to colleagues within In Vivo Pharm
  • Ensure that the highest standard of animal welfare is maintained in all studies involving experimental animals


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • 2-10 years of related industry experience, or a BS in biological science or equivalent with 2-8 years related industry experience
  • Expertise in the following techniques in rodents:
  • Pharmacological agent administration via IV, IP, SC, and IM
  • Collection of blood and tissues via various routes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team efforts in a fast-paced environment while also taking on independent responsibilities as required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
