Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Chemical Biology

The Department of Medicinal Chemistry and the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Utah invite applicants for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in all areas of chemical biology, included but not limited to bioorganic chemistry, drug discovery, phenotypic screening, protein design/engineering, natural product-inspired drug design, computational chemistry, proteomics/high-throughput mass spectrometry, and synthetic biology.  

Successful applicants will be expected to establish, or maintain, quality research programs in their prospective areas. In addition, strong opportunities for synergy exist within the College of Pharmacy and the School of Medicine in research areas focused on cardiovascular disease, cancer, immunology/inflammation/infectious disease, metabolic disease, and neurological disorders. This hiring initiative is part of a major, institution-wide effort to develop a world-class environment for chemical biology at the University of Utah.
