This is an exciting time for the Ri.MED Foundation (www.fondazionerimed.eu), as it’s living a period of significant growth, also considering the increasing number of scientific collaborations.

The Ri.MED Foundation was established with an international partnership between the Italian Government, the Region of Sicily, the Italian National Research Council (CNR), the University of Pittsburgh (UP) and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).

The goal of Ri.MED is to promote, support and conduct biotech and biomedical research projects to rapidly transfer innovative results in the clinical practice. Ri.MED intends to pursue this goal in primis through creating and managing the Biomedical Research and Biotechnology Center in Sicily.

We are looking for outstanding two young post doctoral fellows and one medical doctor fellow to undertake their training and research activities in laboratories located at the University of Pittsburgh, or laboratories located in Palermo, or in other Ri.MED-related laboratories in one of following fields: organ insufficiency, cancer, ageing diseases.
