ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION IN BIOINFORMATICS
The University of Montreal and the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Center are seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics.
Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, and sufficient postdoctoral or fellowship experience to demonstrate independence, creativity and outstanding promise. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and run an extramurally funded research program in line with one of the major research areas of the Hospital Research Center: immunology, oncology, vision and nephrology.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in the use and development of bioinformatic approaches applied to biomedical research. Relevant areas of research include (but are not limited to) regenerative medicine, cell therapy, retinal cell biology, immunology, electrophysiology, imaging, cell death/signaling, and angiogenesis. Salary and start-up package are commensurate with experience.
