Sr. SAP Systems Analyst, GxP Supply Chain Systems

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Principal Software engineer, GxP Supply Chain Systems, the Senior SAP Systems Analyst, will support the design, development, implementation and technical support of GxP Supply Chain systems in a manufacturing environment. This position will play a key role in supporting the Supply Chain systems strategy and will collaborate cross functionally to align data, processes and technology throughout the deployment of solutions.

Here's What You'll Do:
  • Business analysis and SAP ERP system support of the supply chain, manufacturing and QA business units in a fast-paced clinical drug manufacturing environment.
  • Design, configure, test and deploy SAP PP-PI, MM, QM and LE solutions to solve business issues.
  • Implement SAP projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Execute portions of large multi-system SAP and Non-SAP projects.eg, Serialization, warehouse management, Integration with distribution centers and CMO's
  • Monitor and support Integrations with manufacturing systems, eg MES, LIMS.
  • Partner with the SAP finance team, MES team and quality systems team when developing system solutions.
  • Make recommendations on the best practice use of supply chain, manufacturing and quality management master data such as Material master, vendor master, BOM's, recipes/routings, Inspection plans, info records.
  • Data analysis, program debugging and report writing.
  • Write business design documents, functional specs, test scripts, SOP's


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • 5-10 years' experience in the design, configuration and testing of solutions across the following SAP Modules: PP-PI, QM, MM, LE
  • Specific experience in the following submodules
  • MRP material and capacity Planning
  • Purchasing and Transfers
  • Inventory management
  • Shop floor control
  • Quality Inspection
  • Logistics execution
  • Familiarity with the technical integration with supply chain systems using middleware applications eg, Manufacturing execution system and planning applications.
  • Experience with proposing user exits/BADI'S/BAPI's to developers when writing functional specs.
  • Writing simple and complex ABAP queries and/or reports.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain reporting metrics.
  • Familiarity of SAP S/4 is a plus.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated environment such as Pharma/Medical device.
  • Experience with drug product serialization and serialization software is a plus.
  • Experience with warehouse management is a plus.
