Senior Research Fellow

Grade 9: £47,263 - £54,765 p.a.

Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) are seeking a Senior Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases to be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The postholder will lead and deliver a programme of laboratory-based research in infectious diseases. The postholder will be eligible to receive core support from OUCRU to initiate and develop their research ideas. The support could include internal OUCRU funding for research consumables, people, equipment and other areas necessary to develop their research programme and team to the point where they can acquire external grant funding. From the outset they will have a small team of postdoctoral researchers and research assistants. Once in post, it is anticipated that the postholder would successfully apply for the title of Associate Professor or full Professor (dependent upon previous experience and attainment) at the University of Oxford.
