Job Details

Responsible for process improvements and technical problem solving of production processes. This is a collaborative role with more senior scientific staff with responsibilities primarily associated with working in the laboratory. Performs customary scientific / lab duties with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a solid level of technical proficiency in the field. Applies fundamental scientific principles, technology and regulatory knowledge with minimal guidance; Performs literature searches and extracts relevant information from published information. Demonstrates the ability to interpret outcome of experiments and to propose appropriate follow-up. Communicates own work effectively orally and in writing. Contributes and/or prepares protocols, procedures, and technical reports. Responsible for method development, qualification, validation and scale-up to production size and technical support to manufacturing. Plays significant role in the technology transfer process. Correctly executes development activities as defined by customer and operations management. Assists with leadership duties in the absence of the department or shift leader.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a BS degree in a related science or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-degree product development
