The candidate will conduct cutting edge research developing novel scaffolds and antibody libraries, performing panning and screening phage and yeast display libraries, increasing antibody affinity by in vitro maturation, and humanizing antibodies. The work will also involve measurements of binding kinetics, recombinant antibody production as well as production of other proteins, immunostaining, working with mammalian cell cultures, and using other related methodologies.
PhD or MD/PhD in a biomedical discipline is required. Prior experience with antibody identification and engineering as well as with antibody libraries is required. A background in biological engineering is strongly encouraged.
