Tenure-track position in Biology, with expertise in Microbiology, at the rank of assistant professor. Effective August 2020. Ph.D. required, post-doctoral experience preferred.

The successful candidate will teach an upper level microbiology course with lab and other courses that contribute to the biology curriculum. The annual teaching load at Whitman is five course equivalents, which includes thesis mentoring. The College provides a generous sabbatical leave program and professional development support for both research and teaching.
