Junior Faculty position in the Immunology and cancer Immunology

Junior faculty (Instructor/Research Assistant Professor) position are available immediately to study the epigenetic regulation (non-coding RNAs/Histone modification) of innate T cells (NKT, MAIT, and γδ T cells), tissue resident macrophages and skin immunology  in Henry Ford Immunology Program and Center for Cutaneous Biology and Immunology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or MD/PhD in molecular biology or immunology.  The background knowledges in the innate T cells (NKT, MAIT, and γδ T cells), tissue resident macrophages, skin immunology, and cancer Immunology or in miRNAs/ lncRNAs/CircRNAs/Histone modification are desirable.  Candidates should be career orientated, self-motivated and possess good communication skills.  The successful candidate will join a team using diverse approaches (single cells-RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, ChIP-Seq, CyToF, and conditional gene knockout or knockin mice) to understand the molecular mechanisms controlling immune cell development and their functions in autoimmunity and cancer immunity.  A complete application will include curriculum vitae and the names and contact information of three references.  All materials should be sent to Dr. Qing-Sheng Mi (qmi1@hfhs.org), Director, Henry Ford Immunology Program, Henry Ford Health System, 1 Ford Place, Detroit, MI 48202.
