The Department of Dermatology, with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Cancer Center and the Center for Immunology seek to recruit a PhD, and /or MD at the level of Assistant/Associate/Professor with research interests in melanoma and the immunobiology of the skin, including interests and expertise in cellular and biologic immunotherapy. The Cancer Center is comprised of more than 200 cancer research scientists and physicians, has an ambitious plan of growth and expansion, and is dedicated to achieving NCI-designation. The Department of Dermatology is rapidly expanding with clinical expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology. Special service lines in pigmented lesions/melanoma and keratinocyte skin cancers are among the strengths of the institution. The Dermatology Department maintains active research in both basic and clinical research including areas of interest in genetics and epigenetics and clinical applications of artificial intelligence. The Center for Immunology includes basic and clinical researchers at MCW, the Blood Research Institute, and our clinical partners at Froedtert and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

The successful applicant will join a collegial group of interactive, well-funded and productive investigators and will be expected to establish a strong, independent research program and participate in graduate and medical student teaching.  Competitive salary support, start-up funds, and renovated laboratory space will be provided, as well as access to state-of-the-art core facilities.
