Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Lori (Chia-Hsin) Chan in the Department of Pharmacological Sciences at the State University of New York at Stony Brook (Stony Brook University). We are seeking for self-motivated, collaborative individuals to join our group. The primary research will focus on studying the molecular basis that underlines tumor metabolism, metastasis and immunity. The candidate will have opportunities to participate the development of new therapeutic interventions used for cancer treatment. The ideal candidate will receive multidisciplinary training in molecular biology, biochemical approaches and xenograft and genetic mouse models. Required qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
PhD degree in biology, biochemistry or related field.
At least one first-author publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Familiar with biochemical analysis, molecular and cell biological techniques
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
Experience in flow cytometry
Working experience with mouse injection, handling, and colony management.
