Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Research position at the level of Postdoctoral Research Scientist is available at the Center for Radiological Research (CRR.columbia.edu) at Columbia University in New York. There are 2 main projects; one is a NASA funded study on the biological effects of the space environment. The second is the development of high-throughput assays for the radiation effects on DNA damage in blood cells.

The successful candidate will carry out space biology research and will involve space radiation 3D human tissue models and proteomic studies. The applicant will also be involved in studies focused on the development of high-throughput protein-based cellular screening methods. Full training will be given for new techniques.
